It may not seem old for us today but Marco Polo who died in 1324 at the age of 70 would have been considered an old man. With my sister and I in our 50’s (yes, I know it is shockingly hard to believe by the way we look 🙂 we don’t think that is old at all. After all didn’t someone say that the 50’s are the news 30s? He was buried in the church of San Lorenzo in Venice. We will be going there to pay our respects.
